Most of the convention work I have done has been through Wedgewood Productions, a full service convention producer. They create a space for the keynote speech or main sessions that has all of the excitement of the theatre and a polished staged look. Lighting the spaces involves providing enough light for the stage while keeping the video screens isolated. In many cases, name-brand entertainment also uses the spaces, providing additional challenges
